Top 5 Lunch Boxes for Middle Schoolers

Top 5 Lunch Boxes for Middle Schoolers

This will be the first year my son will be attending middle school (7th grade).  During the summer he had a growth spurt and grew at least two inches.  His appetite also grew, so much so that the old school lunch box he used last year won’t be able to hold his lunches now.  So along with buying new school supplies and clothes we also had to buy a new lunch box.  With so many different lunch boxes for middle schoolers available we had a hard time narrowing it down.

In our minds, the perfect lunch box would have these features:

  • Big enough to store enough food to fill a middle schooler
  • Looked ‘cool’
  • A carrying handle or strap
  • Insulated to help keep food cold or warm
  • Additional compartments to store utensils, napkins or a water bottle

We did finally figure out a good size lunch box that he could use to satisfy that middle school appetite.  It was not easy, there are so many.  So in honor of that (and all the work in research we did), here are the top 5 lunch boxes for middle schoolers.
